Preschool
AGES 3-5
LEVEL UP: On Level up Sunday when 5 and headed to KG
When kids feel comfortable at church, they have more fun, build friendships, and get excited to learn about Jesus. In our Preschool classroom, we follow a consistent routine each week so children know what to expect. Our time together includes play, worship, an age-appropriate Bible message, prayer, and crafts.
Classroom Goals:
Our hope is that every preschooler will know that God loves them and that Jesus is their Savior. By the time they move into Kindergarten, they’ll be familiar with several key Bible stories, understand how those stories point to Jesus, and have practiced worship, prayer, and loving others through simple classroom rules.
For many children, this is their first structured classroom experience. That’s why we focus on teaching age-appropriate expectations with plenty of grace and repetition. Our goal is to create a space that’s safe—physically and emotionally—while beginning to model what it means to follow Jesus.
Classroom Expectations:
We use a fun and easy-to-remember song to teach our classroom expectations. These expectations help us build a calm, respectful environment where kids can thrive and grow in their faith.
